Young Epilepsy in Lingfield, England

In 2011 – 2012 Noel was contracted for Young Epilepsy in Lingfield, Surrey, England. This national charity supports young people from the age of 5-25 who have epilepsy as well as a range of learning disabilities: ADHD, autism, SLD, MLD and PMLD.  There were almost 200 young people and nearly 450 staff. Young Epilepsy is a 65 acre site which offers all year residential placements as well as term time only and day provision. It is unique in offering 24 hour medical and therapeutic care.

NGA was asked to work with the school and the college to help support and develop systems and procedures as well as help develop a sound curriculum and deliver good practice. NGA also looked at assessment procedures and progression of young people from the organisation
